Company History
Rihlazana Auctions Gauteng CC, Registration No: 2010/146495/23 is 100% black owned private company registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office (CIPRO), a member of the Department of Trade and Industry (dti), as a Close Corporation in accordance with the Close Corporations Act 69 of 69 of 1984. Established in 2010, the company is registered with the South African Institute of Auctioneers (SAIA) and Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB).
It took its founder, a Black African female and technical adviser over four years to establish and position Rihlazana as an effective auctioneer, business partner and quality service provider. Its Managing Director and management staffs boast extensive auctioneering and estate business experience acquired over many years of working in the estate and auctioneering industry, servicing various government departments across the three spheres of government, public entities and private sector. Since its establishment, Rihlazana has recruited management personnel with diverse skills and exposure in auctioneering, for both large and medium-size disposable of movable as well as immovable assets.
The core business of the company is the provision of accredited courses, social facilitation and auctioneering services.

THE TEAM
Mrs Teleni Shabangu, Director and Project Manager
Mrs Shabangu cut her teeth in her auctioneering career with Tirhani Auctioneers in 2001 where she worked as an office and auction administrator for five years. in 2006, she assumed the Sales and Marketing responsibility and was eventually promoted to the position of Business Development Manager. Tasked with liaising with national, provincial and local governments and parastatals.
In 2009, Ms Shabangu joined Sizwe Auctions as a Business Development Manager and subsequently promoted to a position of Sales Director , leading an eight-member of professionals. In 2010, Mrs Shabangu established and become the Director of Rihlazana Auctions. Mrs Shabangu holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and HED, Computerized Business Management Diploma, Entrepreneurship Certificate, The Estate Agency Affairs Board Certificate, Agricultural Produce Agents Council Certificate and S.A College of Auctioneering Diploma.
Mr Johannes Petrus Snyman, Head Auctioneer
Mr Snyman joined Rihlazana auctions as a Head Auctioneer in 2010; he holds a certificate in Auctioneering and has over 20 years experience in the industry as an auctioneer working for Aucor Auctions and PWV Auctioneers.
Mrs Thandi Mokwana, Auction Administrative Support
Ms Mokwana holds a Diploma in Business Management. She joined Rihlazana in 2011 and is responsible for auction administration , client liaison, customer services, administration and management of buyers, invoicing and reporting.
Mr Sithembiso Gradual Shabangu, IT Support
Mr Shabangu joined Rihlazana in 2013 as a trainee (intern) and was eventually employed as IT support officer. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. He has a certificate in CompTIA A+ & CompTIA Network.
Ms Pheladi Malongoane, Assistant Office Administrator
Ms Malongoane is maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment. Handling external or internal communication or management systems. Managing clerical or other administrative staff, organizing, arranging and coordinating meetings. She holds a certificate in marketing.
Mr Vincent Baloyi, Operational Manager
He joined Rihlazana in 2017 as an operation manager, Vincent plays a pivotal role. Amongst others before an Auction he display Auction boards, preparation of the lots that includes cleaning and he is responsible for projects oversight and site inspection, organises the assets for lotting and labelling. He is involved in identifying of lots and spotter during Auction preceding, After Auction he is responsibility is to monitor the dispatch processes, cleaning of the site and removing the boards. In general, an operations manager plans, oversees and smooths communication
